so I was all wound-down from my insomnia...|
...and Quinn woke up...
So, now it's time for a rare HappyPete poll....
Should we create a journal for Quinn
No, but keep posting about him here.
If we make one, what should we call it?
Again, if we make one, what point of view should we use?
Third-person (Mom or Dad writing about Quinn)
Journals for kids are a sensitive subject for me. There are lots of things in journals that I wouldn't want my 8 year old to read, for example. So if I *do* create a journal for her, the *only* friends that will get added will be other kids (like elaynajade
, for example).
That being said, kids journals could be fun for them - especially as they get older. And if you *do*, you may want to put it in third person so that when he *does* start writing his own stuff, he won't feel like you were putting words in his mouth ;)

Yeah...definitely a controlled friends list..but in that sense, the entire Internet is filled with inappropriate stuff for young munchkins; any LJ-ing, like other surfing, would have to be assisted.
I don't have a strong preference as to whether you post about Quinn in your journal or his own, but I do want you to keep posting about him!

seems like people...
so far, would mostly have some idea of what's up with the doodle, but most don't want it to be in a separate journal.
I see you cast a ballot in my one (heh "rare") poll, and I was curious how you came across me. ~KMK
I can only guess that you were:
- linked to an entry in a friend's journal (Karlita looks like the prime candidate, or
- someone I found on a /friendsfriends page
I don't remember which just now...
It's all good; hope you bother to read up every now and then. ~KMK (God bless America.)

I love making friends, on and off-line.
