am I the only one surprised...
...at what happens when you pour a jar of spaghetti sauce into a hot skillet of (soy) meatballs?

Current Mood: aghast
Current Music: echoing of spagetthi sauce spattering throughout the kitchen

Just don't do that while naked.

Yeah, I had a nasty first-degree splatter burn on my belly for some time after... not a pleasant place to have a burn. :(

Heat and tomato sauce totally don't mix, dude. I make more messes in the kitchen when I go through an I Want Pasta phase, JUST from heating spaghetti sauce on the stove with no lid on the pot.

*bloop* *bloop* *bloop* and splatters all over the stove.

Apparently the trick is to heat the sauce up first...room temp or below + hot skillet == splatter, says friend nightbear

Ooo, I learned something new today. I had no idea it would spatter. I am now hopefully saved from that misfortune.
