I've found myself needing to go to a "Default View," for a variety of reasons...
If I get cut, I get cut, I've never met you, but enjoy reading your posts. I should do it at some point but just looking at the list of people gives me a headache... and mine is a much shorter list than most...
With all the posting I do, cutting me won't save much length on your Friends list and I would miss reading your Friends only posts. Good luck with the cuts.
I keep thinking I ought to do the whole "default view" thing before the baby comes, but I'm so bad at picking and choosing. :P
Good luck getting yours done. May you not agonize over that the way I do.

Good luck. Hope I survive the "cut". Won't take it personally if I don't. Thanks for the disclaimer.

I long ago had to go with a "Default View", and it's getting to the point where I need to trim it back again, so I know the feeling.
Don't cut me bro :-)
I think I posted while logged out--don't cut me, then you might miss my incredibly rare yet sometimes important posts!
I understand if you decide to cut me as we have only met once at TORCON3. It was great getting to know you then and I enjoy staying informed on what is going on in you and Pam's life and I hope to see you again someday at a Worldcon, Boskone or Arisia.
Would love it if you kept me as a friend. :-)

I *do* want to keep in touch with you, as well as Q and that gorgeous woman who sometimes wanders across your living room. Please keep me on your list.
PS -- I'll be visiting my sister in Mt. Vernon VA the end of March; possible to get together?

You're a brave man... I considered cutting my friends list, but I fear the politics of it. It's nothing personal, but some people insist on taking it personally. So instead, I just created a custom filter. My (custom filtered) friends page is now much less noisy, and nobody gets that attitude that comes with being "unfriended".
