More reasons I love my company
Well, last year I really scored in the Employee Referral drawing--I got 2nd draw and picked up a PS3 60GB, which has since become our primary DVD player and a source of great joy for Quinn when he gets his weekly allowance of video game time.
This year, I was not so lucky, pulling 14th out of 15 entries. Bummer. So, I didn't get one of the top prizes--there was a 50" Plasma HDTV, 46" LCD HDTV, a PS3 80GB, and more. When it got down to me, there was a DVD player and an 8GB iPod Nano left over. Well, the PS3 does fine as a DVD player [and game system], I'd never tried one of the new portable music players.
In any event, I'm gifting the iPod to  prettypammie. It's only fair that she gain some benefit after I used a technicality and acquired a game system last year by winning it, as opposed to purchasing it.

I love my iPod (which I gifted to myself a few years ago). I put all the kids music, as well as my own, on it and hook it up in my car. Better than satellite radio! Especially for those long drives... :) SWEET!!! :) |
