ISI ResearchSoft offers EndNote to students for half price; and Pam is still a student--at least until this Thesis is done. I couldn't find an electronic software distribution vendor for the package though, and time is precious right now.
[EDITED TO CORRECT LINK] So, I called them. They are running a promotion (c.f. www.endnote.com/e846/) "Student Price for All" until mid-December. No student ID verification required, even! Software is running now!
