Apparently you can MMS to a special flickr e-mail address, and flickr will properly post to LJ via the Web API...the only nervous making thing..do I really want to store my LJ password in a 3rd-party site? Mr. Internet Security Guy would probably say no. What would make more sense would be for Flickr to re-mail the MMS message with the proper fiddly bits set--then the only thing you'd have to store would be your post e-mailing password--a less dangerous token to have in the open.

if it makes you feel any better, I've let flickr have my LJ password for over a year now (so I can do that "blog this" from my pictures). I don't THINK I've been hacked.
