It's only money...
Top two spending categories 4/6/2006 to 5/5/2006:
Mortage Interest: 24.9%
Horse (excluding board): 20.9%
Yowza. Especially considering that's mortgage interest on a house we're not living in yet.

which, given how fast money has been streaming out of our accounts in the last month could very well be an underestimate of percentage of income

too late for that....

there's a "hidden problem," because I've been booking house expenditures as transfers form the cash accounts to the house "asset" account. This reflects reality well in one way, as our basis in the house is how much it cost to buy the land and build the house...the problem is that since the construction account is frozen and the credit line card and checks on the HELOC have not arrived, I've been having to spend real cash [and credit] on house expenses, and hoping to reimburse myself later.
