Safe.

Q heard a joke on Friday while in the CVS picking up necessities.

This evening, he retold it perfectly to his grandfather. What I think is so cool is that he didn't keep telling me or prettypammie, because he knew he'd already told us. He waited, patiently, until he had a fresh audience and told him.

He's 5 (and a half--we're not allowed to forget the 1/2), and he's pretty much figured out "funny once, not funny twice."

And the joke is...

Q: Why did the turtle cross the road?

A: To get to the Shell station.

that's awfully sweet! What a smartie!
My 6 year old still hasn't grabbed the concept of 'funny once, not funny twice' I hear the same jokes over and over and over...
