I was worried yesterday, because I realized I never called the electric company to transfer service. I had it on my list to call Mr. George and find out what I needed to do to fix it, but then in my e-mail inbox today arrived a final reading and correctly pro-rated bill. I guess all I can do now is call him tomorrow to thank him again.
Not every real estate professional has this sort of attention to detail and follow-through--as an example, our settlement agents on the new property in Virginia still haven't fixed the the incorrect name for Pam that got recorded. Sigh.
