AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGH!!!!
prettypammie is INSISTING that I go to some doctor I don't know because our doctor is closed today. I don't want to. I'll just take something for the symptoms, rest, drink fluids...there's nothing one more day of waiting is going to do. It's probably just an "old-fashioned" cold, anyway.

Ah-ha...Tony was playing Tony, Tony, Tony.

I don't care.

Ellen is trying to keep it fresh. This is scary.

Current Mood: feeling like bottled, pickled, mottled, rotten death
Current Music: Ellen DeGeneres dancing to some tune? How can anyone watch this crap?

Yes - I am as usual insisting for sound reasons, and you should do exactly as I say. You are complaining of headaches; that can be a flu symptom. In fact, flu would explain why both you and I are sick and Q, who had a flu shot, is fine. Granted, our symptoms are somewhat ambiguous and don't seem severe enough for flu, but guess what - there's a test for it now. If you turn out to have flu you can be treated, but only during the first 24 hours.
So, get to the doctor like a good boy. If nothing else they'll give you some nice symptom relief drugs so you don't keep waking me up out of my bizarre Hydrocodone dreams.

Tough Love,
P

Flu? Ah great. They wouldn't give flu shots, but now of course they're tossing the surplus...

My father tells me that there is a major flu epidemic going around NoVA right now, too. Incubation time seems about right for flu, too.

...but you can probably still keep your brain cells on life-support with your local public-radio feed; even if they're fundraising, the pledge breaks can't be as bad as whatever's on telly. Or alternately, there's streaming-audio webcasts from radio stations outside your reception area.
