At Brunch on Sunday, she kept saying things that were like "this was the best wedding I've ever gone to." Then she'd start, look over at me and Pam, and say "since yours, I mean!" I couldn't help but laugh. There's no denying it--Owen and Greg through an elaborate, well attended, touching, weekend-long party for nearly a couple hundred friends and family. While we were missing several friends and a few of the cousins and other family who couldn't work around work or financial constraints, by and large the attendance was remarkable. gregorsf, can I claim Jennifer as a sister-in-law (this is my brother's husband's sister I'm speaking of). I love her so much--she, and all of Greg's family, are just awesome.
My grandmother had a great time. I'm sure all of this traveling is not easy for her--but I have a feeling she thinks the trip was worth whatever cost--physical or financial.
owenthomas did a good job "standing there and looking pretty!" No, I'm just kidding, Owen--you were a gracious host throughout the weekend, and I'm so glad to have you as my brother.
