Went to the Y with Quinn; he loves "Kid's Gym" at the Reston YMCA...they have a Moon Bounce. That's basically Valhalla for four year olds.
I did almost my full hour on the cross trainer. I was 6 minutes shy of done when they made an ambiguous page about kid's gym and the baby-sitting room. I hopped off and went down to find out what was up. I didn't want to get in trouble for leaving my kid in limbo while visiting the Y as an A.W.A.Y. (Always Welcome At the Y) guest. It turns out that it was just an "informational," the kids had been moved from Kid's Gym when it shut down for the night and were now in baby-sitting. That didn't close for another half-hour, so I went up and did an abbreviated weights set, and went home.
Well, actually, Quinn and I did errands--picked up medicine, bought Quinn a cookie and a cheap wiffle ball/bat (he was thrilled--ah, how I long for the days when a $3 toy could make me ecstatic). Of course, $3 today probably meant $.50 back then, but you get the gist.
Okay, where was I? Oh, I was bad...I made an impulse stop. I had an overwhelming urge to Make a Run for the BorderTM. Mmm...Grilled Stuffed Burrito (or is that "Stuft?")
Be happy, y'all!
