New support group; "Spouses of Tech Support"

leem0r and I tried to fix the PowerVault, giving up and calling Dell around 19:45. Dell said they were sending a replacement unit and a tech.

UPS Messenger (guy with a $2,000 GPS unit in his car and a real can-do attitude) drops off what looks to be an entire new PowerVault at our house at 21:18. We load it in the Big Blue Truck of Doom.

At 21:35, the Dell Tech calls--he's 15-20 minutes from the gate.

prettypammie fixes up some tea, gulps it down, and hits the road.

Another day in the life of HPTi's systems support team--if there's a way to get it done for the customer, we will.
