Hmmm, maybe they aren't coming to your part of the state?

Also, people who don't want to see the cicadas should look at the kittens.

Well, *I'm* glad he said something. My neighborhood is too young to have any Cicadas though I finally saw some at a friends place in Silver Spring last Sunday. Love your pictures.

Have you seen this site? http://www.cicadaville.com/
and my sister sent me a story of a guy who got sick (hives, I think) from eating sauteed cicadas. Can't find that link now, but think he was also allergic to shell fish.

I have a few other friends who have not seen any cicadas yet. One lives in Alexandria, in a community built in 1991. The other lives in Maryland, off of 27, but I don't know the age of the community. I'm glad you like the pictures. I posted links to all my cicada picture posts in cicada_maniacz (two separate posts in the community).

I just saw Cicadaville yesterday, and I think it may be the funniest web site I've ever seen. I had heard about the guy who ate cicadas and had an allergic reaction. I went looking for the article a minute ago, and found the link in a Cicadamania article, via cicada_feed.
