lookin' good

prettypammie just got her volunteer refund from The Millenium Philcon...I'm guessing mine probably went to our home address...if not there, I don't know where it would have gone.

Talk about blast from the past.

They make an appeal to "refund your refund" as a charitable contribution to replenish the funds of the Student Writing and Art Contest.

Poll #143686 To contribute or not...

Should we contribue our volunteer refund

Yes. It's the right thing to do.
No. Keep it or contribute to your own chosen charity.
Contribute some amount...not the whole thing.

Quinn's Birthday presents from Uncles owenthomas and Greg...

...arrived today. A Shrek PC game..."Swamp Fun with Phonics," and the Shrek story book by William Steig and another William Steig book Amos & Boris. Ah, which one to read for bed time? Decisions, decisions...

No, both is not an option. Quinn is already up past his bed time (he was playing with his first very own computer game)...and I'm exhausted, too. He's so cute, he loves the sounds when Shrek gets the right letter...and when he gets munched by the spider or other Bad Things.

It's cute.

A new thing...

Quinn wants to read his books by himself...he's just making up stories to go with the pictures.

It's wonderful...all that creativity. I guess he got bored with me reading what the words actually were.

Interview from secretsguardian

andrew_jp_reyes: If you are a nudist, why are you so uncomfortable with your body?
Good question. I actually don't have a modest bone in my body about being nude...but wearing a speedo just seems disproportionate and wrong with the shape of my body. It's better to wear nothing than to wear a tiny, inappropriate something.

2: How did you and Pam meet?
She ignored me when I was at her roommate puzzledance's house, when Yvonne tried to introduce us. A little later I went to Sense and Sensibility with, Yvonne, Pam, and Yvonne's boyfriend, George. Dating Pam hadn't quite occurred to me, nor had dating me occurred to her. There's more to the story, but you only asked how we met.

3: Your breast-feeding Quinn is amazing to me. Can you explain it better?
I had nothing to do with it. My glands don't work that way. Pam on the other hand had quite the adventure...you should really ask her the whole story. I commend https://www.painless-computing.com/peteandpam/breastfeeding.

4: How come no journal for Quinn, detailing his daily progress as an independent human being?
Are you kidding? I don't have time to keep up with THIS journal. When Quinn has the intellectual wherewithal to clam an invite code, he can have his own journal. At this rate, it won't be long.

5: Do you beleive in magic?
At the risk of having my fellow Pagans--including my wife--run in terror or reproach me as a Bad Neopagan, nope. I don't believe in it one bit. That which we call magic is simply cause and effect that we haven't figured out yet. Where ithese unexplained things are is repeatable enough to achieve results in our life, and can be reasonably passed on from practitioner to practitioner, we call it magic. Rodents of Unusual Size and Strength? I don't believe they exiaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!.
