My post-Darkover post has been pre-empted

I had the phone message from my Mom on the phone--the one that says "I need to talk to you," but translates as "I have bad news that I can't leave in a voicemail message."

My Uncle Pete and his wife, Geri returned home today to find Geri's son, David, dead by his own hands in their home.

I know very few details other than that, really. I'll probably be on my way to the funeral sometime this week.
