But who could my "1.5" secret crushers be...hmmm....well, one of them apparently was secret and went public, since there are "4.5" public crushes...so there's just one "still secret" crush out there...
Hmmm...And the ex-crush...well, there's a couple of possibilities...oh well, what can you do? Is it worth the $4 to find out--plus, it's somewhat an invasion of privacy. Okay, maybe we were dumb to give some random dude on the Internet data on our secret crushes. You want to know what I bet--I bet he makes a lot of money...Heck, if only 2% of the 28,000 people who gave him crush data actually decide to pay to see who has a {public, secret,ex} crush on them he'll make over $2,000...
Not bad for a little friends-list scraper work and some PHP scripting and HTML.
I can't bring myself to hate this guy...people willingly gave him very personal information, with at most an implied expectation of privacy...I guess it's a lesson in divulging private information to unknown people on the Internet. When you're just filling out some cute little meme, it can be easy to forget that there's a person out there who coded it...and that person could be a scoundrel or opportunist...
