...of a seven year old e-mail address.
I've used it for both business and personal purposes since the Summer of 1996.
It receives mail in a ratio of about 500 : 20 : 1, split between spam, commercial mailing lists that I did actually request but rarely read, and message from real people...luckily SpamAssassin and MimeDefang take out most of the 500...
I can understand this; I have an account that I've used since '86 at MIT that I still keep around. It gets a heavy amount of spam, but a great set of BABYL/LISP macros gets rid of almost all of it.
Still, it can be as high as 100 spams a day.
I refuse to be run off though.
I need to turn on the Bayesian tuning filters and be a little more aggressive in my spam scoring...people tell me that they have reached nearly 100% hit rate with very low false pos and false neg rates with a relatively short period of training...
well, if it's one I have, please tell me before it goes POOF!

I'm probably just venting...
after a weekend away, and having almost no real messages, I was a little frustrated...
but it's the only address that I own from the domain to the server, through and through...the others are freemail accounts and work accounts.
