That is so sweet.
I am sure you know this, but it is worth saying anyway; The more you encourage productive behavior when you see it happening spontaneously, the more likely it will turn into a positive character trait.
Did you read my post on cleaning? It is a bit extreme, don't you think? I can bet I did not hear "Good Job" on my first efforts, but instead "Not good enough...can't you see this? What about that?"
No,my mom was not Joan Crawford, but both my parents are over achievers, and were often not able to see a forest because of the trees. Good parents though, they had wonderful intentions.
Happy Fathers Day to you...seems like Quinn is training you right...
he keeps me on my toes.
I haven't seen your post on cleaning...I'll go back and look.
Happy Father's Day happypete

I remember when Brother (Dave) Schmidt married Megan and they started procreating...all the jokes. (Well, actually the day they got engaged was "The End of the World as we Know It," which was their fraternity theme song)...where was I going with this?
Oh yeah...now I'm the creaky old alum with a kid! Shudder!!
Somehow or another, of all the Brothers that I know and have known to get married and contemplate having children, yours brings to mind the LEAST amount of horror. Jim Slade was only slightly more alarming. Brian Hill and Alex Hofelich probably bring the most horror, aside from maybe Chris Farris (whom I doubt will ever be socially apt enough to date, much less marry).
But I shall not blast my Brothers... for long at least.
Whatever became of Farris?
farriscite? dunno, don't care... he was a little shithead.

I was just amused.
I don't remember all the bad sh*t that went down...I tend to be an optimist so I filter out the bad memories and tend to remember more the happy stuff.
Not always good because it can lead to me mistakingly trusting an untrustable person again because I forgot about their malfeasance.
You're very lucky.
I'm very envious that you have a child and such a wonderful one. :) :::turns around and smacks the damn biological alarm clock again:::
awww...well you can always come and play with Quinn when we're at cons together! He likes fen! ;)
