15 minutes...

mama_hogswatch...true 'dat...but of course the problem is I have to take less than 15 minutes just dealing with the incoming stuff...otherwise I jush get behind-er and behind-er...

what I really need to do is commit to 15 minutes of "forward progress" where I F.A.D. (file/act/delete) on each item...if I just reshuffle a paper to the bottom of the to-do pile, that doesn't count as "action."

Me too. Well, haven't acted on much, but I pulled some out to bring with me to Philly to.. hopefully.. act on in my 'spare time'

I was more organized when I didn't have 2 jobs... or a full time job and school. Used to spend one night a week watching stupid brainless TV and doing paper stuff. Another night doing laundry. It bugs me that I can't be as organized as I would like, but I've made choices. And since I haven't figure out how to fit an extra 24 hours in between Sunday night and Monday morning I've lowered my standards.

Sometimes laundry doesn't get folded and I end up using the laundry basket for clean, unsorted laundry and the floor for dirty. (as you may have noticed Sunday) Papers pile up. Life goes on.

I usually deal with things with any urgency right away...but lately I've been slipping on that, too.

I hope you have fun at the con!

slipping... yeah, me too. Luckily I put a bunch of my bills on auto-pay... but I did stubble upon a few nasty grams from my credit union last night. It's not that I don't have the money. Hell, it's sitting there in my share draft account... but it needs a call or something from me to move it and I never get around to that call.

I'm going to wedding, not con. Maybe con for a bit on Sunday. Maybe. I hope so. But I'm afaid of a repeat of last year. Seems all the Sunday parties were private ones and a bunch of people that didn't go to the con and I went to see Star Wars (ugh) at the Senator in Baltimore. I couldn't find any of the people I wanted to spend time with when I got back and the evening was terribly boring. I DON'T want a repeat of that this year. esp since it's my BD.

Of course FlyLady seems to be pretty S.H.E.-centric.
