Dan won't have it?

Actually, the Boa is prettypammie; ever since our former snake (left behind w/the breeder in VA) mistook her nose for dinner, she's a little more leery of handling them...but she's getting over it now, it seems.

you could fondle my snake while I hold it still for you...I think you'd find it pleasant once you got over the sheer size of it.

Hrm. I guess you don't understand a phobia. I am deathly afraid of them.

I see you were trying to joke, but the concept of a real snake sends spasms of panicked fear racing through me. Seriously.

Oh dear...* hug *

* tucking the snake away *

I'll be sure to always keep my snake covered and out of sight when you come over to play.

I have known people to get over phobias by slowly--oh, so slowly, being exposed to a "domestic" captive specimen...first getting used to the idea that the snake is even in the same general vicinity, then looking at it, then touching it, and then (eventually) holding it.

Can happen.

I like our little boa...

Not so little anymore, but still a sweet snake.

We take him out on halloweed to scare the grown-ups. (The kids think he's cool).
