Numbers didn't hold...
As of now, assuming that the 11.2% of precincts that haven't reported yet are roughly uniform in size with the precincts that have reported, the results would have to be heavily in opposition to defeat Prop 8.

That said, some precincts have been overwhelmingly against.

It all boils down to what votes are still out there unreported. Their are plenty of votes to swing this thing, but I am feeling less hopeful with each update.

You tell Owen and Greg they're welcome here in MA where our legislature had the power to refuse to let these right wing nuts put the discriminatory constitutional amendment on the ballot. They shut down the ballot measure and everybody that was pro gay marriage got re-elected, and a lot of those guys that were against it, did NOT get re-elected.
