And I'm one of the worst programmers you'll ever meet...there's a reason I got out of tech and ended up in social work, even if that's given way to "staying home with baby."

Thank you. :) My friend [info]melebeth made it for me a while ago.

We're playing January by ear-we really want to go, but it depends on budget and whether we're going to Canada this winter. We'd love to see you too.

As for staying home...it's up and down. My bad days (which haven't been all that bad) have been worse than some of my bad days in the working world, but it's all part of the job description. It'll get easier as she's better at expressing what she really needs. And it'll get harder when she starts telling me what she wants.

Congrats. Now comes the problem of picking names. Do yourself a favor and don't settle on just one till the kid is born. Come up with a list of about half a dozen and then wait to see which one fits the face.
