I love the smell of black powder..oh wait..I'm in suburbia now. When we lived in NH we always allowed hunters on our land (we had over 10 acres on a mountain) and I was amazed at how long the bow and/or musket guys could sit in their stands in the cold.

A few times we received gifts of venison or other game.
