Arisian Hams: ohnoes! halp!
My gear has been in disarray since we started the moving/building/moving process in '05. I found my beloved "classic" HTX-202, but I had been using it last as a temporary base station for emergency assistance operations--external antenna. I put the rubber duck away somewhere "safe," I'm sure...but now I can't find it...or the either of the two other functional radios in the house.

Any of you have an extra 2m handheld antenna (the standard BNC male w/lock ring) I can borrow for the weekend? If not, can you perhaps make a stop at the local Boston ham outlet and pick one up--I'll pay ya back!

apropos of my strange sense of humor, every time I see one of those I hear Ernie, "Rubber duckie, you're the one..."

Yeah, I have some, if you have the time and can brave the snow.

I took so much grief, I struggled through the 5 WPM test so the old hames couldn't keep beating on me.

I only have SMA antennas, but if you can get a SMA <--> BNC adapter, you're welcome to borrow an antenna.

It's a screw-on mount, a little smaller than the size of a pencil eraser.

Shoot-- why don't I just bring a spare HT and we can go from there....

See you in a few hours.
