Awww, that's sweet|
Okay, another quick little Twitter-esque post. I was really pleased that Terry Fator won, but honestly by the final four of AGT, I would have been happy with any of the contestants winning. I just saw a news article, though: Julienne Irwin will get one of her wishes; she will sing the anthem before the Baltimore Orioles game on 9 Sept.
[Oh, and for the self-styled grammarians America's Got Talent who were hassling the Hoff: it's a contraction "America has got talent." A near-perfectly constructed sentence..at least in lolcats-speak].
Current Mood: pleased
We finally got around to watching the finale last night.
I would have been disappointed if either Butterscotch or Julienne Irwin had won. I think Julienne needs to grow into her voice more and do a better job choosing songs, and Butterscotch, while she impressed me at first, in later rounds just left me feeling kind of disappointed. I don't think it mattered to me whether Cas Hayley or Terry Fator won-both regularly blew me away.
I'm glad, however, this year, with the possible exception of Kashuk the dancer there really was no Lenoid the Magnificient.

I agree on Butterscotch...
...I think the same thing happened with her as with the Glamazons...lack of depth, so as the weeks went on, even when you liked the performance you didn't necessarliy love it, and yes, a little bit of disappointment. Cas was starting to get that way with me.
I see your point about Julienne. Truth is though, she could well be a star, regardless. Technical perfection is not required for stardom.
Terry, I could watch again, and again, and again and still be amazed and spell-bound. Maybe that's the true test?

Re: I agree on Butterscotch...
loved the Glamazons all the way through. He actually bought a Glamazon's t-shirt.
I think Julienne and Bianca Ryan from last year suffer from the same problem-too much voice for their age. They're both phenomenally talented, and in the long run could do very well for themselves, but there's not a whole lot of good performance music for them at the age they're at. I think Bianca Ryan being on tour with Aly and AJ is perfect though-just the right age group, and probably performing music that suits her age and her talent.
