Looks like a great idea, but this passage made me wonder a little bit:
He describes The Sanctuary as a nonprofit charity that exists to serve those who have been physically, mentally and emotionally traumatized while defending the United States' and its citizens' way of life.
When people start talking about "the United States way of life" they usually mean their own to the exclusion of all others. I hope I'm just being paranoid for the sake of people that go there. I know I couldn't look at kiddie porn all day without some sort of stain in my brain.

I think he just means people in the military and law enforcement...

Well, yeah. From the article, it included the poor people in law enforcement who have to look at that sort of stuff for their job.

the reporter seemed to delve into that topic more deeply than others...

it wasn't a very well written article--grammar problems, etc...

then again, we are talking about the Herndon/Loudoun Observer Online...
