Sleeping in the apartment one last time|
Home from an exhausting day. Thanks for all the encouragement regarding our occupancy permit process. It was a battle. Up to the very end, the county was saying no. I finally found a couple of people at the inspections department willing to help me, and they called the person at the zoning department who was giving us trouble...he grudingly granted us a 15 day occupancy permit. So, I sleep, and in a few hours, we move. I also ran the paperwork to the school, meaning Q can be officially registered and we don't have to worry about his spot getting bumped.
I am so glad you are getting to move in. It means alot I know.
I hit some rough spots when I built my house but nothing like yours. There were days I thought I would go mad.
In comparison when my house was inspected the official okie dokie was written on a scrap piece of cardboard and tacked to the wall.
That was just plumbing and electric. I never had to have anything else.

I hope that things start coming together for you now. Building a house with contractors is not an easy thing to do.
Hope the move goes smoothly!
