Note...the Heimlich maneuver is not meant for live-fire practice|
Actually, if I had been practicing, I would have missed.
While buckling Quinn, my wet boots slipped off the side-board of the truck. I went straight down, gut-first, into the plastic edge of the booster seat. I say I missed, because I did not, in fact, blast my Chinese food out my stomach and all over Quinn. Lucky for him. I'm sure I bruised something internally, though, because I'm still feeling sore, today.
Hope you're not hurt too badly.

I figure anything too bad...
and I'd be peeing red, or some such obvious problem, or be in more substantial pain.
I think I just knocked things around a little.
It's not as if I got hit by a bus like my friend cz_unit
...actually, he got hit by the mirror of the bus, which literally knocked him for a loop...apparently he just rolled with it and got up, searched for the mysterious assailant that whacked him on the back of the head, figured out what had happened, and continued on his way.

Youch! Poor CZ.
I wish you a speedy recovery then.

Ouch! Please be careful! And he is OK too? Probably more scared than anything else.

I didn't land on him except a light flail with the buckling arm...
OUCH!!! Oh, the many many perils of parenting. Hope you feel better soon!

pretty much back to normal now...
note to self: Quinn _ can _ buckle himself in now in most vehicles...
